We offer small group fellowship for all, at various times, for various purposes.
Social Butterflies
This new group in our church is for women of all generations.
(Sorry guys!) The Social Butterflies is designed to renew and refresh our
relationships with our female friends in Christ. Our first meeting opened
with a devotional, followed by a dessert tasting. Future meetings may include
a spa night, book discussion, supper out on the town, a movie night, or Bunco.

Young Adults Fellowship 
Our newest fellowship group is designed to welcome and connect
the fastest growing segment of the Gretna population: Young Adults. Whether
you are in your 20's, 30's or 40's, come join us as we start this new ministry in
our church. Right now, we are having monthly game nights, but would like to
develop groups for fun, fellowship, and for discipleship. See the News & Announcements

United Methodist Women is be a community of women whose
purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through
Jesus Christ, to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand
concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
UMW Circles meet throughout the month; the entire Unit gathers monthly. Visit

The mission of the United Methodist Men is to assist men
to know Jesus Christ, to serve him, to grow spiritually, and seek daily
to do his will. Our local UMM chapter meets for service to the local congregation

Traveling Tasters
Looking for a new reason to eat? Looking for new people to meet?
Looking for a new way to get together? Traveling Tasters is a new ministry for
adults at GUMC. Getting to know each other over a meal is a wonderful way to
make more intimate connections with members of our church family.

Youth
Our Senior and Junior High Youth programs are designed to help
youth become connected in a safe, spiritual environment. Our youth are active
members of the community, and play an important role in the life of the church.

Chancel Choir
Love to sing? Whether you have the voice of an angel or just
love to sing in a group, we invite you to join our Chancel Choir. We practice
on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm, and perform twice per month in worship and
on special occasions. All ages of men & women (and even high school
students) of all abilities and ranges are encouraged to come join our worship group.
Handbells
Have a love of music, but don't like to sing? Our Handbell Choir
practices on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary. No experience is
required, either with bells or music. We play in worship once per month and
on special occasions. Join us this week!
Scrap, Craft & Sew
If crafts are a passion of yours, then you are in good company.
We gather every Tuesday at 9:00 am at the church to share our love for any type
of craft: scrap booking, quilting, cross stitch, needlework... you name it!
Bring yourself and your current project to this time of fellowship.
