Buckle up and get ready for a wild winter adventure that will bring teenagers and volunteers together in an event that builds community and creates memories during the Christmas season! Teams will compete against each other (and against the clock) to see who can accomplish all of the challenges on their scavenger hunt list. This event will challenge your students to work together and be creative to compete for the top spot on Santa's Nice List this year!
6:00 - Check-in and Dinner
6:15 - Kick-off Rally
6:45 - Scavenger Hunt Begins
8:00 - Return to Church
8:15 - The Awards and Cookies Ceremony
Here are some brief rules that will help this event go smoothly!
STAY WITH YOUR TEAM: This might be the more important rule. While driving around town you need to make sure your students stay with their team.
KEEP A HEADCOUNT: Every time you load up the car again after going somewhere do a headcount.
One easy way to do this is by assigning everyone a number and counting the number of people in the car.
BE RESPECTFUL: Respect the places and people you'll be interacting with. Remind students they represent your church as they go out into the community. If you are staying in the church, ask students to respect the property. If anything gets damaged tell the students to let an adult know.
