Women's Bible Studies |
Why do most women benefit from group interaction? The support and love of a small circle of friends can nurture a woman in a unique way. Personal relationships help meet several basic needs—acceptance, affirmation, and accountability. These three A’s serve as the primary purposes of any women’s group within the church. The Women’s Bible Study at Gretna United Methodist Church offers an opportunity to meet these needs through the “table families” organized into each new study. We learn as a large group utilizing a video-driven series but make personal connections through our discussions, fellowship, mission opportunities, and sharing of prayers/praises within our “families”. Each study provides us with some familiar faces and some new ones to build relationships with. Please join us! Two meeting times are available to accommodate your schedule: Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 pm We start a new series approximately every 8-12 weeks.
