Join the Team!

Are you passionate about serving in the community and want to be a mission team regular? Sign up to join our We Serve Saturday Team. This team will receive updates when new serving events are scheduled. If you are excited about a specific event, you will have the opportunity to serve as a site leader for that Saturday. Heartland Hope Mission

Saturday, 12/17
Location: 2021 U Street  
Parking: North parking lot/North doors (facing U Street) 
Volunteer entrance: North entrance, glass doors, front side of the building 
Arrive: 8:30 am (please do your best to arrive on time)  
Dismissal: 12:30 pm 
 **We will not have time for a lunch break during the 4-hour shift, so please make sure you eat a good breakfast that morning before arriving.  
 

Age groups: Volunteers must be ages 12 and up. A parent or group leader must accompany ages 12-15 to volunteer. 
Dress Code: For your safety and comfort wear tennis shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt. Appropriate workout attire is acceptable (please wear a jacket or coat if the weather is chilly, as some volunteers may be asked to assist with projects outdoors). We do ask that all volunteers adhere to our dress code policy as a safety precaution. 
Duties: Volunteers will be assisting our staff by distributing a Christmas pantry and toys to families in need. We will train you on tasks upon your arrival. (Note: Please come dressed to help outside)
