What is Team 4:12? |
We are the Middle School Youth group at the church!
Our name comes from 1 Timothy 4:12: Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. During the school year, we meet Sunday Mornings at 10:45 am for discussion & Bible Study. Topics include life skills, strengthening our relationship with God and service within our church family. We also meet on Wednesday Evenings at 6:30 pm for fellowship and fun. We eat pizza, have a short lesson with prayer, and then we play! Games vary from week to week, but a good time is certain, Mission Projects include YES Bags, Kids Against Hunger, Angel Tree, and a Toilet Paper Drive for Gretna Neighbors or the Living Hope Food Pantry. Fun activities and outings include trips to Vala's Pumpkin Patch, bowling and other adventures. |
Sunday Breakfasts |
We serve breakfast to the congregation every third Sunday of the month during the school year. It’s a full spread of eggs, ham, sausage, waffles, juice, milk & coffee. Kids arrive to prepare at 7:30 am, the serving line opens at 8:30 am. Come for the food, stay for the fellowship!
